Like my failure to publish was contingent on the purchase of a five hundred dollar wp.It got to the point where talking to him equaled failure because he'd look at me and know he was right, because he always thought I'd never make something of myself with my odd notions.<br/><br/>There are many kinds of writers. And sometimes, it takes years and years to find exactly what you are. People who don't write have a hard time understanding it's not something you can take out of a box, or unwrap at Christmas--it comes from inside.
