It was so nice to see you today! Thanks also for the tip about the house down the street. It was very nice, and we actually know the owners! We are waiting to hear on another home off 27th and Jefferson, but if that falls through, your neighborhood is next. Either way, I think we’ll be seeing much more of each other.
So happy to hear it. I very much enjoyed seeing you guys, too. Wouldn’t it be fun to talk theology and stuff (like writing) in person once in a while! :o)
ahhh wish we could have joined you.
Dust bunnies can always wait!
I wish I had that excuse!
Oooh–look at all those good things to read/watch, in the background… Since I got rid of most of my books a few years ago, I am thrilled to be free of the encumberance but sometimes long for a packed-full bookshelf like yours! (I bet people with two cute little kids probably don’t get to read much in the way of books.)
Yes! It will be great to have conversations face to face. (Summer and Mel, that applies to you as well whenever we’re in each other’s corner of the country)
Fresca – Yes, my book reading is no longer so great =( Unless you count Milne and Potter as serious reading.
Hey, over here, see me, jumping up and down trying to get your attention!!!
Moving to Eugene, you are? (I sound like Yoda. Yes, yes.)
Glad you and Deanna had a good visit.
Love the photo, Deanna! And your vast movie collection, too, wink wink!
Summer and Melanie, it would sure be neat to have you stop in any time (or to stop in at your places, whatever state they’re in), but at least this gift of blogging gives us a way to stay connected.
Sandy, I did tackle some of those bunnies yesterday, but I’m proud of myself for not worrying overly because of them when people came by.
Fresca, this is the wall that draws people when they enter our home. Tim’s video collection started with Betamax tapes (there are still some old Dr. Who episodes on those), and he’s always adding to it, subtracting duds to put out at garage sales.
Books do have their places down the hall and in our bedrooms, far from TV but also exciting in their way.
Cherie, you and Marianne and I and good conversation (maybe tea). Gotta plan that, yes, yes.
