Wow, Gmail just came up with the coolest thingy.
I got to pick a theme for my email account screen. (Their new themes are under “settings”). I chose one with a tree (I like those). After it was applied, I noticed raindrops striking the top of my Inbox, and the tree at the page’s bottom appeared to be blowing in a breeze. I thought, hm, this theme’s similar to the weather outside.
Later I noticed the rain had stopped (huh, just like outside my window), and now the clouds around my email page are breaking up…
Oh, maybe this is on purpose.
oooh!
i was all discombobulated yesterday when the appearance changed without warning, so i set it back to the usual. maybe i’ll try the tree, though…. i like how it sounds. =)
Ooo, I picked the tree last night too, but mine is still raining.
Hey wow, we’ll never have to go outside to see what’s going on anymore, will we! Computers do it ALL!
Seriously, cool! And a bit scary, too…
I picked the “ninja” cause I thought it was funny and Indy thought it was sooo cute. I’m digging the new look…but now I’m intrigued by the tree.
Well, I don’t know. Just sneaked a peek at my email, and at 5:00 a.m. it shows the sun up and shining brightly. Could be this thing don’t got it all together right.
I may have to try the ninja.
I just switched to “mountains”, as I was tired of looking at an overcast screen. Perhaps the tree will be a good spring and summer pick =)
Cherie – I was thinking the same thing…who needs real life?!
I haven’t discovered this little thingy, I’m going to look and see if I can get it to snow! Dang it’s cold here.
Well we don’t have it yet, they say maybe soon though!
Oh, I’d like to see snow on mine, Sandy, but that likely won’t happen for a while, if at all. Hope you get the thingy, too.
I heard about the ‘weather’ one, but didn’t know it was the tree, I’ll change mine to that now.
