This is rare enough around here.
But to get the white stuff along with Christmas cheeriness. Wow.

It’s cause for riding off to rejoice with friends.
Not that I did.
I tried to contribute to holiday cheer by capturing the moon and trees and snow. My pic’s either kinda wonky or artistic.
For tomorrow they forecast more wintriness. Maybe we shoulda bought snow tires…for the bikes, of course.

While I declared that we are, in fact, having a white Christmas because I consider Christmas more than the day but the entire season of which we are decidedly enjoying now, my young, purist daughters seemingly corrected me by emphatically pointing out that today is NOT the 25th.
I like my way better.
Could it be that this royal snowness becomes win/win for us all?
Time will tell…
Pretty pix, and brave James!
Wow! How much do you have? Looks like three or four inches!
Just beautiful.
I like Cherie’s way better, too. Here’s hoping that *WE* have a white Christmas. We’ve had snow, but just barely.
I’m with you, Cherie and Patti. The whole time around the day is Christmas for me. Of course, young people tend to be sticklers. We mellow and ripen with age??
Melanie, this was the first morning, and I called it three or four inches then. Now it’s more like one, with ice beneath, as we await fresh flakes. We’ll see what actually falls next…
I’m with you on the snow. It comes, it goes, it melts and turns into ice–and then it snows again. I’ve become quite the devotee of Prestone Windshield night-time de-icer.
Hey Deanna… glad you get some wintery warmth (or is it cold! I guess you’re warm and snuggled inside!) for Christmas. I don’t think it really feels like Christmas in Australia after having experienced a northern Christmas. Anyway, I’ll be eating my prawns/shrimp or other suitably summery fare and enjoying the day with family like you! Trust you have a great day together.
I haven’t been around much lately… have succumbed to bloglines and read your posts there but have become an even lazier commenter than before. But I’m still reading and hoping you keep well! ‘See’ you in 2009!
