We received illuminated encouragement in our home recently. On a weekend with nothing better to do, Tim cut a hole in the ceiling.

Next, he fiddled around on the roof and in the attic.

Like artwork, the tube carries daylight through a reflective shaft and into our once-dark hallway.

Feeling depressed? Come over and stand beneath our solar tube skylight. We’ll play improv videos on the computer and feed you chocolate til you smile.

Grabbing my keys and my coat. Be right there.
That’s pretty cool. I thought you were putting in recessed lighting, but the solar tube? That’s pretty cool. And it looks like it works well. :)
nice. totally.
Okay, Cherie. Any time, really. (Except, today James woke up with a sore throat, so maybe not quite yet.) :o)
Yep, Jodi, it works. My parents-in-law got two.
Thanks, Angela. We’re swanko now.
Very nifty!
I keep missing your new posts cause my reader only picks up the front page of your website and for some reason won’t get the updates for stories glimmer. Oh well. That means I must visit your blog/website, which is nice. :-)
Sorry, Cecily. I’m learning about this stuff, maybe. Anyway, if I recall correctly you use Bloglines, like I do. If you “sub” this particular page with Bloglines, it will update with the new posts. I’m hoping this is my last bloggy change for a long time – thanks for finding me. :o)
Two words:
Jefferies Tube!
Re this new blog–do I have to keep typing in my name/e-mail/website every time I comment? Is there a way I can sign in forever?
I’ll do what I can to find out about the signing in, Fresca. And I hope to get back to reality (if I’ve ever been there) and visit your blog again soon.
I think our attic is more like the Jefferies Tube; it’s where everything gets rewired when the aliens attack.
