Yesterday I saw this and cracked up. Apparently there is a controversy over whether Kindles and iPods and so on should have audio readers for the visually impaired or whomever to listen to. I haven’t followed exactly what’s happened, but I liked the creative display here. It relates to a Star Trek movie – not the one coming out this week.

“KhAAAAAAAAAAAAnnn!!!!” = “Khan. Khan.”
Too funny!
Sort of like that subtitle translation of Darth Vader’s scream ,”NOOOOOOooooooo!!!” into “Do not want.”
Isn’t life a hoot sometimes?
Thanks for that, Deanna.
Hee, hee, Fresca. I thought of you, of course.
that made me laugh so hard. It’s that whole monotone, patchwork voice. Text to speech still isn’t there yet. :)
I know, Jodi. My kids and I used to have fun when we owned a Mac with the voice (called Marvin) that would read text. We’d write silly stories and he’d read them back. Not for serious stuff.
