We're going to lose all sense of vowel sounds for "i" and "e", but I suppose we have, already, mainly due to Japanese language influence. Adapt, I know, adapt! Don't know why. I'd been wondering about the change. Now it makes sense. :) My favorite (long off the air and not as good after the second season anyway) was Andromeda.
