…for something completely different. Or not.
A story I wrote has been posted at the online journal called joyful!, in their January issue.
You’ll find “Grandma’s Sermon” on the 2010 fiction archives page, the last story in January’s section. Like I said, a work of fiction. As Wendell Berry wrote on his novel’s copyright page, “Nothing is in it that has not been imagined.”

Wow!!
caught me in complete surprise. And I “saw” it all , _ you’re good.
Congratulations on the publication.
I’ve bookmarked the site as well. Perhaps…
Ha!
That caught me up short. Very wickedly satisfying. Really made me grin at the end. Good one.
Deb, thanks and, yes, definitely! The editor’s nice. :o)
Thanks, Fresca. Funny with fiction…you have to go where it takes you, but that doesn’t make it predictable, because you’re the only one who really knows where the story must go. I have to experiment with it every so often.
I never write fiction. But reading Reynold’s Price memoir “Ardent Spirits” recently made me wonder about giving it a try. Probably not, but maybe…
I didn’t expect it either. :) Very nice.
