i-made-it
The daughter of a fisherman-preacher and his teaching wife, I was born in the Midwest and came of age during the 1970s in Washington State, between Pacific Ocean shores and mountain-rimmed Puget Sound waterways.

I began writing stories in grade school. Teachers read my “novels” or had me read them in class. As an adult, married, living in Oregon, and homeschooling my children, I launched into writing articles for Christian magazines. Then my thinking and faith-life underwent a radical shift. After taking a long look at some difficult truths about God, I began working on literary essays. I seek to express some of the glimmering joys that have invaded my universe via deeper study and reflection on culture, philosophy, theology, and past experiences of making a mess of my life.
